It is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Doctor Strange. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Dr. Strange is the 14th film and is written by Jon Spaihts and C.Robert Cargill.

Doctor Strange’s Main Idea

Because of the car crash, his hands get severe injuries and he permanently becomes unable to operate. His fellow surgeons try to help him but he desperately wants to get treatment to return to his routine.
Strange learns about Pangborn a paraplegic who mysteriously regained use of his legs. Pangborn directs Dr. Strange to Kamar Taj where he meets Ancient people. The Ancient one shows her power to Strange and tells him about other dimensions like Mirror Dimension.
She agrees to train Strange and help him to recover from his injuries. Stange being a stubborn person wants to learn everything quickly. He went to the library and found a book whose pages were stolen. Later, Strange tries to break the laws of nature and this leads to many problems and puts the lives of many people in danger.
Overall Dr. Strange is an interesting story and keeps the person hooked on the movie from start to the end. The second part of Dr. Strange starts where the first part ends and has many twists and turns that do not make the audience bored even for a second.

The opening day collection of Doctor Strange was $32.6 million in Canada and the United States. After three days the film managed to earn $85.1 million including Thursday previews. Furthermore, IMAX contributed $12.2 million with 3D contributing $24 million to the opening weekend collection.
The film earned $3.2 Million in Hong Kong, $2.5 Million in Thailand, $2.4 Million in Malaysia, and $2.2 Million in Singapore. On the second weekend, Dr. Strange opened in 22 more markets and became the top movie in China with $44.4 million.
Because of the amazing weekend collection, the film became number one for the weekend and the second-largest opener for Disney in November. In terms of collection, Dr. Strange remained at the top in its second weekend but fell to the second spot in the third weekend.
In the 4th weekend, Doctor Strange was the 3rd highest-grossing film and fell to the 5th spot in its fifth and sixth weekends. Later in the 7th weekend, the film fell to the 9th highest-grossing place.
The total collection of Doctor Strange is more than $232.6 million in Canada and the United States. While in other territories, the movie made a total of $677.8 million.
In November 2016, Doctor Strange became the biggest IMAX opening at $12.2 Million (Domestically), $24 Million (Internationally), and $24.2 Million (Globally). These collections overtake the records of Interstellar.
On November 27, 2016, Doctor Strange had become the biggest single-character film in the MCU. According to Deadline Hollywood calculations, the net profit of the film is $122.65 million. Overall, the film was the biggest opening for the original Marvel release.
